The F# Software Foundation runs multiple programs to fulfill its Mission Statement.
Our current programs include:
Mentorship Program
The F# Software Foundation Mentorship Program connect developers to a experienced F# developer who can help them improve their F# programming skills, and best practices for developing in F#. The Foundation coordinates dedicated one on one mentorships spanning an eight week period where members are connected to each other in order to help developers grow in their skills.
Community Diversity Program
The F# Software Foundation is committed to increasing the diversity of its membership. The Foundation works with event and conference organizers in order to offer free, sponsored tickets to conferences around the globe to assist members from minorities which are underrepresented in technology attend.
Affiliated User Group Program
The User Group Program allows the F# Software Foundation to better assist both new and existing F# user groups. The Foundation has affiliated groups on six continents with more groups joining the program on a regular basis.
Speakers Program
The F# Software Foundation Speakers Program helps local communities find speakers to present F# content in local meetups by financially supporting new and experienced speakers with their travel expenses and coordinating communication between speakers and user groups.
