2016 Board of Trustees Elections

One year ago, on May 6th, 2015, the F# Software Foundation elected its first Board of Trustees. A lot has happened since then: membership has grown by over 50%, the Foundation has become an official 501(c) 3 non-profit organization in the United States, a mentorship program has started, a speaker program offering financial support for travelling speakers has been put in place, the FSSF helped organize fsharpConf, and multiple corporate sponsors are now supporting the foundation.

F# Software Foundation Granted 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Status

Henderson, Nevada - The F# Software Foundation is proud to announce it is now officially a public charity with tax-exempt status in the United States, under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Contributions donated to the F# Software Foundation are fully tax-deductible retroactive to the founding of the corporation on October 29th, 2014.  The F# Software Foundation is also now eligible to apply for government and foundation grants, which may further broaden its access to resources and strengthen its ability to serve the F# community.
