What is the F# Software Foundation (FSSF)?

From the Mission Statement:

The mission of the F# Software Foundation is to promote, protect, and advance the F# programming language, and to support and facilitate the growth of a diverse and international community of F# programmers.

The F# Software Foundation is a corporation according to United States tax law, incorporated as a Non-Profit Corporation in the State of Nevada.  Our federal taxpayer ID is 30-0845638.

Who are the FSSF Members?

Members are individuals within the F# community who have decided to publicly support the F# Software Foundation and its Mission Statement. For more information on various membership options, please refer to the Membership pages.

How do I join the FSSF?

Joining the FSSF as a Member merely requires wanting to join and agreeing to abide by the FSSF Code of Conduct.

Who manages the FSSF?

The F# Software Foundation is an open membership organization.  

The Sustaining Members vote in the Board of Trustees.  The Board of Trustees is responsible for fulfilling the Mission of the F# Software Foundation, and does so via appointing Officers to manage the day to day operations.
